…life-saving MojoLion from Chester!
Britain’s Next Dog Model 2012 – coordinated by grooming, training and healthcare experts, Mikki – is MojoLion, a Leonberger from Chester. Organised by Mikki and supported by leading animal charity the Blue Cross and online retailer PetPlanet.co.uk, Britain’s Next Dog Model aims to demonstrate the significance of why regular grooming matters to an animal’s overall health and welfare.
MojoLion not only is a magnificent example of good grooming and responsible pet ownership, this beautiful cuddly two-year old boy is a registered therapy dogs who works with dog-phobic children, as well as being a blood donor who has saved many doggy lives.
MojoLion – along with four other semi-finalist dogs – was judged to be the winner of this year’s competition by an esteemed panel of experts: Mikki Brand Manager – Anh Nguyen, representatives from the competition’s supporters including The Blue Cross, Pet Planet and Venture Photography, pet behaviorist Claire Arrowsmith and award-winning groomer Alison Rogers.
As well as the prestige of becoming Britain’s Next Dog Model 2012, MojoLion and his owner Suzy Jump will be treated to an exclusive pet and owner photo-shoot session with Venture – the UK’s leading portrait photographers, and he will become the face of Mikki advertising for a year.
With almost 1,000 dogs from across Britain being entered by their owners to compete for the crown, this year’s competition generated over 5,000 votes from the general public – a clear demonstration of Britain’s ongoing love of our favourite furry friends.
